We’re on the eve of a new month and that means it’s time for a new goal tracker!! I can’t believe we are halfway through 2016! Download and print your July Goal Tracker and share it with a friend, too! My kids put a sticker on my chart for each day I workout; since Sundays are a designated rest day, I still ‘earn’ a sticker on those days, too.

Here are a few tips to help keep you motivated as we move into July: 

  • Set a goal for yourself. Maybe 31 days (with 5 designated rest days) is too much for you to take on right now. You can set a goal to workout “x” number of days in July instead – maybe 15 or 20 days?
  • Be intentional. Maybe you know it’s going to be tough to get to the gym or push ‘play’ on your workout DVD. Will you be traveling by car this month? Wear workout clothes when you travel and make every stop break into a workout (ie. jumping jacks, push-ups, burpees!) If you have kids, this is a great way to run off some energy, too, before hopping back in the car. Is your day just too busy? If you are running errands, park further away to get more walking in; and opt for the stairs instead of the escalator or elevator. FYI, walking counts!! Just be intentional and track your steps or your mileage.
  • Choose a reward for yourself now! This is my favorite! When you reach your goal for July, how will you reward yourself? Will you get a manicure or pedicure (or both)? Maybe you need some new workout clothes or running shoes? Determine NOW how you will celebrate! And make sure it’s something healthy…as much as I love chocolate cake, that isn’t going to move me closer to my bigger goals 😉
